I want to get a hibiscus tattoo either on my foot or my ankle, however so many people have just a plain hibiscus flower tattoo and i want to be different. What could i add to make it unique?
What could be added to a hibiscus flower tattoo?
You could get it with a hummingbird or get words in hawaiian like "ola" which means to live/be alive and "aloha" which is love, or "nani" which means beautiful...
Reply:thats cool.
well i have 2 tattoos and im 16..their not trashy and i thought very carefully about what i wanted..i am very mature and my parents took me. my first i got done on my 16th bday and i got three chinese letters on the back of my neck which mean "survivor" since i had cancer when i was 6 years old it was the 10th year of being healthy and it was my bday AND national leukemia and limphoma month so its very special and reminds me of how lucky i am to have survived..so my point is- if u want to make it 'yours' add something to make it special, wether thats a person who was close to yous name, a word thats special like "love" or "'dream" or something or maybee a date at the bottom which is special...hope u get it and love it!

Reply:Given the Polynesian nature of the hibiscus, I'd recommend looking into some tiki and Polynesian designs.
This does NOT mean "generic black tribal" - this is more like sleek woodgrain stuff. And woodgrain can look hell of good if you've got a talented artist behind the needle.
Reply:ok just because this girl that answers may be ugly and have nasty skin when there older doesnt mean you will n i think the tattoo will still look good no matter what.
butterflies flying around the flower may look pretty cool
Reply:another little flower or an animal
Reply:a little butterfly!
Reply:some chinese letters.
Reply:your name in the pollen,bees,lady bugs,etc.
Reply:How about vines or ribbon?
Reply:There is nothing different about a tattoo. Please don't ruin your skin with trashy ink blotches. There is nothing cheesier than a forty year old woman with an ankle tattoo.
